CURL is a band from Dallas, Texas comprised of Gunner J. Hardy (vocals, rhythm guitar), TJ Novak (lead guitar), Allison Owens (bass) & Justin Hoard aka DeepnthCut (drums). The group has been in constant evolution since its birth by experimenting in a diverse array of sonic territories such as post-punk, shoegaze, glam & on upcoming releases hip-hop, r&b, garage rock & dream pop. With an eclectic sound often described as a combination between Sonic Youth, Marvin Gaye & Beach House, they’ve become known for their unparalleled chemistry, unconventional lyricism & explosive live shows while steadily amassing a strong local following. CURL is embarking on their first tour this October/November as support for Pity Party (Girls Club).
